But this afternoon, on the local NPR station, an interview pricked my ears. Some of the details were out of a thriller movie.

A plane trip to Teterboro, NJ airport, then a ride to Manhattan to the consulate that was opened for them on a Sunday morning where the VISA's for the flight crew were processed in 2 hours.

After landing in China, they were given 3 hours to load, flight crew was forbidden from leaving the plane. They finished loading just under 3 hours and then they headed home.

Even more amazing, our governor is a Republican (though not at all a fan of I-1).
