We tried a new restaurant on Saturday night. “True Food.” We joked about the fact that our conservative friends were taking us out to eat hippie food.

Very impressive! Clean food, organic, sustainable, remarkably lo cal.

And really, really good! We may have a new favorite. Lots of flavor.

Turns out it’s a national chain. Have you tried it?

We went in Chicago and loved it! I didn’t realize it was a chain - it certainly didn’t have a chain feel.

It didn’t feel like a chain at all. That’s something I liked about it.

Yup. You can’t get in the door without a reservation.

Clean, natural food is awesome.

Sounds good! We don't have one here yet, but there are plenty of other vegan restaurants.

It’s not all vegan but there are several vegan options. The roasted Brussels sprouts with mushrooms and chili threads are the best ever!

There's one in Oakbrook, not far from Mr wtg's orthropedic guy. We'll try to swing in for lunch next time we're down there in February.

thanks for the heads up.

That sounds like a place I might like and my wife would probably love. The location nearest me is the Columbus, Ohio restaurant and there are also restaurants outside Philadelphia and in Bethesda, Maryland that I might encounter. I'll try to remember this possibility if I find myself near any of them.
