I wouldn’t buy anything made by Samsung but other than that they’re pretty straightforward and not much goes wrong with them.

The generally outlast washers by 10 years or more and are often available used at a good price.

Have a 30 year old Maytag that is still chugging along, but don't know if something that old is representative of the current models. Our 20 year old Maytag frig is still going, too, FWIW. I think both were made in the USA, don't know if Maytag has outsourced since then.

Have heard good things about Speed Queen quality. My neighbor has a SQ washer and a dryer and they are tanks.

Bought a new Whirlpool gas dryer about two years ago and, so far, am happy with it. It replaced an over 40-year old Whirlpool that I finally couldn't repair.
