Ron, I am so sorry for your family struggles.

I have some, a bit removed but similar...Various rifts in the family have been for odd reasons, religious, just a general falling out etc.

But as I have gotten older, I am seeing with more clarity mental illness issues with some members. I see now that the rifts are not something I can solve..

I just reach out to those who will listen, express love for those who will accept, and then just take the rest as gift.

We cannot fix people.. Frowner
