Wow. Two other roommates were in the house during the murders? Holy crap.

I know. There's this, too:

quote:
Two other female roommates were home at the time of the stabbings, and they were not hurt, Moscow Police Chief James Fry said on Wednesday. It was not a hostage situation, he added.

The roommates were home when police responded to a call for an unconscious individual at the home at about noon, Fry said. The roommates were not the 911 callers, according to Idaho State Police spokesman Aaron Snell.

Yikes.

What headline?

I don't remember. I didn't click on it.

I'm not following this case to spare myself the horror of it.

I might decide to read about it later particularly when they solve it.

I read an article that quoted somebody who had lived in that house as a student - it’s apparently a 3 story house with basement rooms at the front, under the living room - and a separate entrance for the top floor. He said that people used to have loud parties in the basement, and the way the article was written made me think that things could go on in those bedrooms easily without the other roommates knowing about it. (I think I read they were killed in bed, but I could be wrong about that) It seems to be a house right near all the Greek houses - the article seemed to think the roommates might be helpful as far as possibly knowing who could have been in the house that night (and they don’t seem to think the roommates are the killers). there is video of the girls on Main Street at a food truck - with videos of other people there - so I’m sure they are following every lead.

They have only given the suspect's name.

And some word salad ("it's not an end, it's a new beginning").

Hopefully, they'll share more details soon.
