My youngest daughter's best friend just found out that her entire family tested positive for COVID.

My daughter and her friend got tested last week right before they left on a road trip to NH to visit middle daughter.

I think they should both be isolating and getting tested again. I already voiced that opinion and hope they both escaped in the nick of time and did not become infected.

I hope they dodged it.

Is this the daughter and friend that went grocery shopping in March?

Yes. They were our shoppers for a while. Then we started doing it ourselves because, the substitutions and wrong things purchased were just too much for me to handle. lol

The safe thing to do is to isolate and retest. Hopefully they'll take your advice.

Are you going out at all, mark? Your state's positivity rate is through the roof.

Ours is on the upswing and we're starting to avoid going out to public places any more often than we need to. Costco got a shipment of Bounty paper towels in this morning and I managed to snag a pack. They came in last week in the morning and were sold out by the end of the day.

We're trying to work our way through the freezer to finish up all the things we stockpiled earlier this year. We figure that things may get crazy after Thanksgiving and Christmas and we won't want to go out at all, and we figure we can re-stock for the winter.

We go out as little as possible. Mostly to the grocery store and butcher shop. We always wear KN95 masks and usually have another Bioshield mask over that.

But, in typical 2020 fashion, this just happened at our favorite butcher shop...
