The 18vt battery sawzall was just delivered.
It is damn heavy. Probably too heavy for me. I don't know how much it weighs but anything shoulder high for over 5 minutes will do this old lady in Might have to resell it and start again or else just give it a shot for one season and see if I get tennis elbow and how it affects my carpal tunnel. Sh..!

Sawzalls are normally used in short bursts. It would be rare to run one for 5 minutes straight. Might work out better than you think. Be sure to use a two-handed grip.

Ah yes...
hold a 20 lb weight at my head level while it vibrates and makes me scared to death that something is going to come crashing down!!! But you have given me encouragement to give it a shot. Two handed, of course, and only when someone else is around. I guess I was just shocked at the heaviness of it when I just tried to hold it and run it. Best that I do something low first, right? And yes, Apple, I read your initial warning...just didn't take heed. I had best get out of here and finish up today's projects...

I find it's a lot easier to use a sawzall after I've had a few drinks.

That way it doesn't hurt so much when you sawzall your fingers off.

I love these threads where I have absolutely no clue whatsoever what is being talked about.
