Once again, we'll be ringing in the New Year at home, just the two of us. We'll probably watch one of our favorite holiday movies, When Harry Met Sally.

If any neighbors are brave enough to go out in the cold, we'll be awakened by the sound of fireworks at midnight.

edit: After I take my walk in the snow, we're going to work on that Christmas jigsaw puzzle that was in my photos of our Christmas tree. It's been devlishly difficult.

ThumbsUp

What are y'all doing?

We got an invite to friends' house back in the suburbs. We'll go out to dinner somewhere out that way, otherwise, the 9 pm start-time will lose out to our normal shower and jammies time!

We might just toast in the new year with Newfoundland and head home early...

Ha! We don't do New Year's. Barely recovered from Christmas. And absolutely will never brave Times Square, even though it's in our backyard.

Went grocery shopping today, and it was a total ZOO. I guess people will be cooking, or maybe they're afraid everything will be closed tomorrow, so they're stocking up.

Bob is making a marinara sauce for ravioli.
He got Prosecco and sparkling cider.
Might manage to stay up to watch the drop in Times Square.
May have to go to Mobile where they drop a huge Moon Pie someday. Nah
Got lox and bagels for tomorrow.

Big news here.

I had to go out to run an errand and was near Binny's (liquor store), so I stopped in and bought a bottle of bubbly.

Happy New Year!!!

Kim’s in-laws and family are here for finger food and baby holding. We’re playing a game on the TV where you use your phone to draw things. “Drawful”.

Happy New Year!

Spent the day at the ER with Mrs. Mark. She was admitted. I will be heading back in the AM. They are scheduling an MRI for her tomorrow. Numbness, tingling, and weakness on her right side from head to toe.

CT scan showed nothing out of the ordinary. All blood work came back and all is well there.

So I'm spending NYE here worrying about my best half. Frowner

Wow, Mark. That’s scary.

Hoping that diagnosis is swift and it turns out to be something minor.

Mrs pj just made her family recipe jello salad with cabbage, walnuts, pineapple, and Miracle Whip. We’ll be having that, shrimp cocktail, other nibbly food, and eggnog. We may actually stay awake until midnight, but if history is any indication, I’d give that about a fifty-fifty chance.
