AxtremusPeer-Reviewed Author - College App. Shenanigans
https://www.propublica.org/art...-review-publicationsParents pay researchers/college profs/grad students to "mentor" their high school kids to get some research papers published in peer-reviewed publications, between $2,500 and $10,000 a pop. The typical college admission staff can verify that a paper is published but cannot assess the quality of the paper.
