Yeah, no need to uncheck any boxes. If your health status is such that you can't donate this or that organ, they won't transplant them. They check them thoroughly. Lungs are the worst, actually, some 40% of donor lungs are rejected. That's why I had 4 so-called 'dry runs'. Other organs are much less likely to be turned down by the extraction team.



Interestingly, there's even something called 'high risk donors' which don't have any disqualifying disease but have an unknown medical history or (for example) spent time in prison. They can still be donors but the recipient needs to sign a 'high risk donor' waiver.
