My lessons are held in a local church, they have the most amazing piano! I love how it sounds! Here's a description from the church's web site (unfortunately no photo)
How old do you think this piano is? When would S&S have still be making grand pianos without a full-sized keyboard?

I'm guessing they went to 88 keys at some point in the 1880's. I'm too lazy to go find my copy of The Piano Book, which just might have the answer.
I know I've played Steinways from the 1890's with 88 keys.

Wow! Could this piano really be that old?! I'd love to know for sure. I sure do like the sound of it, whatever its history.
