Different version in what looks like a practice room. It has a different sound quality than the first.

"It would reduce the whole instrument to a single phrase, that of instituting a Congress with power to do whatever would be for the good of the United States; and as they would be the sole judges of the good or evil, it would be also a power to do whatever evil they please. Certainly no such universal power was meant to be given them. It [the Constitution] was intended to lace them up straightly within the enumerated powers and those without which, as means, these powers could not be carried into effect." --Thomas Jefferson, Opinion on a National Bank, 1791

I've seen his videos before. Good chops. A little rough around the edges, but I'd love to have a big technique like that.

Been watching Cambry for quite some time now. He's really cool.

Interesting how, with youtube, I can view cambry for left-hand work and Rubinstein for right-hand work etc.

How long before all this is illegal I wonder?

I actually found Cambry the other day searching for the Rach MM 3. I didn't particularly like his version of that. A little smaltzy yet not watching the direction of the composer in some places. Hated the funeral march part.

Who is he?

KK, what did you think of the MM4?

It's funny, I never got to the end of the MM#4 because every time I listened to is I noticed this video, and watched that instead.
Who cares if Horowitz didn't practice it enough, and they screwed up the end. It's still one of the most electrifying live performances.

Very good job. He has some of the same problem spots that I do, but overall a very smooth performance and nice feeling for it. I too checked out his website and it seems he has a real penchant for Rach - my kind of guy. Yes

I also see he went to Interlochen music camp in Michigan - where I took piano lessons in high school. Very cool.

I just logged onto his forum and as soon as I get my entre pass I'll invite him over here.

KK,

Somehow I must have missed his website. And would like to view it.

Do you think that the size of his hands help with the playing of the 4th?

It seems he has quite a few things up on youtube...and the 4th looks like a performance venue. ???

The hand size definitely helps. The right octave stretch in the 2nd theme of that piece with all the stuff going on with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th fingers stretches my hand to the max and I still end up often missing the upper pinky note - frustrating as heck. An extra 1/2 inch in my span would most definitely solve the problem.

To go to his website, click on his U-tube link and you'll find the URL.

The 4th looks to me like a stage but in an empty hall.
