Here is an interesting mechanical detail for the treble strings passing under the capo bar. Adjustable tensioner/angler?

All pins nice and high. Pin block looks brand new to me. Pin tension very nice. A slight cosmetic flaw on the harp (longest standing part going back to the bass end). But beauty is in the sound.

Action Shot!

Nicer than the Grotrian which uses some kind of cast metal (may be stronger for all I know but finish not as nice) and an aluminum channel instead of wood as a key hold down.

They said they only replaced the hammers, but these knuckles and other bumper felts look fairly new to me!

Hammer rail - note how plush. Is this why the Ibach is so much quieter than my Grotrian?

Whew! Second to last. Here the surface for the action. All one piece of wood! My Grotrian has many pieces butted together (stays flatter?) anyhow. Nice big flat surface. Found a rubber string damper wedge in here! (MINE NOW)

Damper rail mechanism. When you show me a Steinway with this type of adjustment capability, then I might consider playing one... :-)

Look at that! Capstains on each damper! What control.
