REPEAL THE 16th AMENDMENT! Beatification Candidate |
Waterfall in Central Park.
Me standing in front of the coolest store ever. A shot from below street level. Me and the Sarah at Liberty Island. Steinway Hall. Just a couple of doors down from the hotel! Wall Street and Broadway. Jon looking on as Ax enchants us with his spectacular playing on the 9'2" C. Bechstein during the piano crawl. |

Great pics, Markj. Glad to see you were able to take in some of the park. Beautiful isn't it?

Mark and Sarah, Happy Anniversary!
I will have to remember to go to the Apple store next visit...so cool! We did a bit of sight seeing as well with our gracious tour guide Bernard. Chinatown first... Then Little Italy We hopped the Staten Island ferry so as to take in the views... Thank you Bernard for your hospitality. You make it all look so easy. |

as a native new yorker, its still hard for me to see that view without the WTC. even 6 yrs down the road. as a small child, a ride on the ferry was a real treat. |

I know what you mean, Bach. Mr. Nina and I went down to play tourist and take the ferry. The train we were on went through the WTC station, but it was closed and did not stop. Still, it slowed down and the station was lit slightly--enough to see the platform and the WTC signs on the wall.
The train, which was packed and had been loud, went silent for the duration of the time we were passing through. It was a kind of impromptu memorial. |
