My first love is watercolor, but I have some oils that I intend to try sometime when I feel like it. And that was (so far) the only one I felt comfortable in sharing, but hopefully that will change.

I remember watching the same program (and the cigarette ads that followed it... I attribute my father's passing due to lung cancer as being caused by that sort of policy). I share your interest in WWII submarine technology, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to go through it... as for the submarine service in the nuclear age, well that's a much different story. I understand that a lot of WWII submarine veterans felt that the nuclear power program killed the old submarine service. As for the declassification of operations during that era... some things that were done were interesting (aka "scared sh*tless"). I guess that's all I can say even at this late date...

Since I posted a couple of photos of my guitar in another thread, I would like to add some photos of my violin here... It's a 1954 German instrument from Herbert Schmidt (and I can't find any reference to him on the web... strange!)

Maybe someday I'll have enough time to learn more about playing it than "twinkle, twinkle"...
Awwww

It sounds very pretty as well, Kathyk... that is, when someone who knows how to play it well plays it.

Needless to say, I have a ways to go...

Right now, I'm working my way through Claire de Lune on piano along with Hugh Sung (on PW)... this is a piece I attempted some years ago, and am now re-learning.

This time, I'll nail it! Keyboard Jam

Too many interests, not enough time!!!
