It's a gorgeous photo. I much prefer the simpler gowns and suits to the hooplah of today's weddings. Stunning!

This is the only photo I have on my computer of my folks. I was 5. My mother would kill me if I posted a current pic. My dad looks the same, but with a lot less hair.

I think this thread is a great idea, but I had to wait till I got home from work and could remember how to work the scanner.

These are the only ones I have to hand -- to find a wedding photo, I'd have to go through the 100s of photos and slides I "inherited" from my dad. One day I will get to that...

These photos were actually taken one right after the other, on the same occasion.

I, too, had to dig around. My parents don't have wedding photos other than a few blurry snaps...

On my computer I only have one old photo of my mom, in 1973, which I think I've posted before:



I have none here of my dad when he was young who was, I was surprised to discover as I got older, actually a good looking guy! I don't think any of their wedding pics survived one of my sister's bouts of rage many years ago.

This is my favorite pic of my dad, this is exactly what his personality is like:



Although my mom would disagree, this is a great picture of her. She is always very self-conscious in photographs and this is one of the most natural ones I have seen of her:

I'm enjoying everyone's pictures. I looked through boxes for pictures to scan last night, but I didn't find the one I was after. (Anything to knock the election to the bottom of the page!)
