You know it's funny--when choochiefingers was little, she thought Halloween was just for dressing up and visiting the neighbors to show off her costume. We always told them quietly that we weren't "collecting."

Of course, as soon as she went to preschool, the jig was up. And naturally the tactic didn't work at all for monkeyfingers as he had his sister to corrupt him.

Hallelujah, my kids have finally graduated from 'collecting.' This year they're helping to construct and operate a small howl-o-scream funhouse in a neighbor's driveway and garage. should be fun.

Great idea!! Luckily she still doesn't know there's candy inside the wrappers. She just likes the noise and likes to put them in things.
